Now you know. Participating shops give away free comic books on the first Saturday in May (details are here). I have no idea what is going on in the world of comics these days, but they used to be my life’s obsession. I’ve been rifling through my collection trying to rekindle the old flame and came across this excellent specimen: speedy by w. craghead (published in 1997!)

It included a sticker and fold-out mini comic, plus a little 2-color insert. I’m totally feeling it all over again.
